Plug-and-Play Gen 4 & Gen 5 Haldex AWD Controller — MQB Platform

Take full control of your Haldex AWD system with a controller built specifically for MQB platform cars, compatible with both Gen 4 and Gen 5 Haldex units. No cutting, no splicing, no laptop — just true plug-and-play performance you control from your phone.

Compatible with:

  • Mk6 Golf R

  • Mk7 Golf R

  • Audi S3

Installation:
Installs inline between your factory Haldex connector and the pump. Everything is preloaded and flashed straight out of the box — connect the harness and you're ready to go.

Multiple driving modes, all adjustable via the app:

  • Stock Pass-Through — Runs exactly like factory Haldex. Zero changes, so you always have a safety net to revert back.

  • Full Lock — Locks Haldex on for maximum AWD engagement. Best suited to track use or specific conditions rather than daily driving.

  • Expert — Sends power to the rear earlier and more consistently for a noticeably stronger AWD feel, with sharper launches for improved off-the-line traction.

What's in the box:

  • Factory plug-and-play harness

  • Pre-flashed Gen 4/Gen 5 controller

  • Full app control — no tuning knowledge or laptop required

Switch modes on the fly, tailor your AWD behaviour to the drive, and revert to stock in seconds whenever you want.

Aluminium Oil Sump
$170.00

🔧 YOUR EA888 HAS A DIRTY LITTLE SECRET

That factory oil sump under your Golf R, GTI, or S3? It's plastic. Yeah — the same engine putting down 300+hp is trusting its oil supply to something you could probably crack with a socket wrench and bad luck.

We fixed that.

Introducing our billet aluminium oil sump replacement — a straight-up upgrade for the EA888 Gen 3/3B (MQB platform: Mk7/7.5 Golf R & GTI, 8V/8V.5 S3, and friends).

Why bother:

  • No more warping or cracking — the factory plastic pan is notorious for failing after heat cycles or a rock strike from underneath. Aluminium doesn't care.

  • Better heat dissipation — keeps oil temps more consistent under hard driving or track use.

  • Leak-proof peace of mind — no more mystery oil spots on your driveway.

  • Bolt-in fitment — same mounting points, gasket and hardware included, no fabrication required.

  • Looks the part — because if you're already popping the undertray off, it should look better than the OEM plastic bin under there.

Install time: roughly an hour with basic hand tools if you're comfy under a car.

This isn't a "might as well" mod. It's cheap insurance for a part that fails more often than it should, on cars people actually track and thrash.

Stop babying a $500 repair bill. Upgrade the sump, forget about it.

Full Aluminum EA888 Gen 3 Water Pump
$600.00

Stop Replacing Plastic. Upgrade to Billet.

All-Aluminium Water Pump & Thermostat Housing — EA888 Gen 3

If you drive a VW or Audi with the EA888 Gen 3 (2.0T), you already know the weak point: the factory plastic water pump and thermostat housing. Years of heat cycling, coolant pressure, and engine bay temperatures make it a matter of when, not if, that OEM plastic cracks, warps, or fails outright — usually at the worst possible time, and usually more than once.

This one's different.

Machined from solid billet aluminium, this housing is built to outlast the engine itself:

✅ CNC-machined 6061 aluminium — no plastic, no weak seams, no brittle failure points
✅ Handles heat and pressure that kills OEM units — zero warping, zero cracking under thermal cycling
✅ Direct OEM fit — same mounting points, same coolant paths, bolt-in replacement
✅ Built once, fitted for good — stop budgeting for a repeat repair every 2-3 years
✅ Peace of mind for daily drivers, tuned cars, and track cars alike

Plastic housings were never designed to handle the heat this engine puts out over the long haul — they were a cost-cutting measure from the factory, not an engineering solution. This aluminium housing is the fix enthusiasts and mechanics have been retrofitting for years, now available as a straightforward, durable upgrade.

Fit it once. Forget about it.

Suitable for EA888 Gen 3 engines across the VW/Audi range (Golf GTI/R, A3/S3, Passat, and more — confirm engine code compatibility before ordering).

70mm Intercooler
$700.00

STOP COOKING YOUR BOOST.

Tube & Fin Intercooler Upgrade — MK7 Golf R / GTI / Audi S3

Your EA888 is a monster on paper. On the track, on a hot day, or three pulls deep — it's choking on its own heat.

The factory intercooler was built to a budget, not a redline. It's small, it's restrictive, and the second ambient temps climb or you start stacking runs, intake air temps spike and your ECU pulls timing to protect itself. That's not your tune failing you. That's your cooling system giving up.

This is the fix.

WHY TUBE & FIN BEATS STOCK — AND MOST "UPGRADES" TOO

Bigger core, more surface area A properly sized tube and fin core gives the incoming charge dramatically more surface area to shed heat across — not just a bigger box, but a smarter one. More cooling fin per cubic inch of core means more heat rejected per pass.

Consistent performance, pull after pull Stock cores heat-soak fast. One hard pull is fine — the second and third are where the factory unit falls apart, and IATs creep upward with every run. A larger tube and fin core has the thermal mass and airflow path to recover between pulls instead of stacking heat.

Lower pressure drop, less turbo lag Efficient internal tube design means air moves through with less resistance. Less pressure drop means your turbo isn't working overtime just to push air through the cooler — translating to a crisper throttle response and less lag.

Built for real airflow, not just a dyno pull Tube and fin construction handles sustained heat cycling — repeated heat-up and cool-down — better than many bar-and-plate designs, without cracking or fatiguing at the seams. That matters on spirited backroad drives, not just a single quarter-mile.

Bigger end tanks, smarter charge distribution Cast or mandrel-bent end tanks reduce turbulence and distribute the charge evenly across the core, so you're not just cooling air — you're cooling all the air, evenly, every time.

Real gains that stick Lower and more stable IATs mean your ECU can hold ignition timing where it wants it, instead of constantly retarding it to fight heat. The result: more consistent power, especially in Melbourne's warmer months when the stock unit is already on the back foot by lunchtime.

Bolt-on, no drama Direct-fit for the MK7 Golf R, GTI, and Audi S3 (EA888 Gen 3). Uses factory-style mounting and piping locations — no cutting, no custom fabrication, no compromise on daily drivability.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Your engine can make the power. Your tune can hold the timing. Your stock intercooler is the only thing standing in the way.

Give it air that's actually cold. Every pull. Every time.
